This position will be responsible for performing repairs and preventive maintenance of facility equipment and machinery to maintain optimal up time of production equipment. May perform wiring, plumbing, electrical/mechanical maintenance repair and installation. Trouble shooting PLC’s, motors, motor controls, drives, electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, and robotics. Effectively communicate and provide training or technical support to maintenance team in these areas.
Associate’s level education in an industrial maintenance related field from a two-year college or technical school and/or equivalent work experience and education.
5 - 7 years work experience in manufacturing maintenance or equivalent work experience and education.
Worker must be able to use advance trade math with complicated drawings; use precision measuring instruments, NC/CNC equipment, PC and specific software involving technical skill’s knowledge. Must complete and retain powered industrial equipment certification to include industrial forklift and aerial platform required. Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, solid state and PLC systems. Must have experience with RS Logix, Control Logix. Must have AC, DC, VFD, Flux, Vector, Servo and Stepper motor and drive experience. Ability to work independently.
Ability to perform physical requirements of the job: prolonged physical exertion, including standing, lifting of over 50 lbs., pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in awkward positions and tight areas. May be exposed to temperatures that can cause marked bodily discomfort. Exposure to noise, that can cause marked bodily discomfort, moving mechanical parts, oils, chemicals and atmospheric conditions associated with the manufacturing environment.
