    Position Summary

    Responsible for providing support for operational activities in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and standards to achieve established production schedules and desired quality levels in a safe manner. 

     

    We are looking for individuals on 1st and 2nd shift who have some production manufacturing and leadership experience. This is a great operations entry level role to start a career with MBCI/Omega! 


    Organizational Relationship:

    This position will report to the department Supervisor.

     

    Key Accountabilities

    • Support the activities and personnel engaged in manufacturing of products within their assigned department and shift.
    • Identify inefficiencies in the production process and work with the department supervisor to overcome and improve them
    • Communicate and collaborate with various departments across campus to meet production needs
    • Interpret, apply, and/or consistently enforce all company policies, programs, rules, regulations, and safety rules.
    • Help the team achieve departmental goals for safety, quality, and productivity.
    • Promote clean, safe work areas throughout the plant by continuously checking for hazardous conditions.
    • Update communication boards and manage delinquent/backorder lists as needed
    • Fill in for open positions as required
    • All other duties as assigned.

    Education & Experience

    • Strong analytical, problem solving, delegation, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Computer skills required; mechanical aptitude is a plus.
    • Highly motivated with a strong focus on quality and safety.
    • Must have strong attendance record and be seen as reliable
